I have for sale or possible trade an unfired Springfield Armory M1A National Match rifle with Krieger barrel chambered in 308 caliber. If you call Springfield with the guns serial number they will tell you this National Match rifle left their assembly line on November 25th 2008, when these rifles were already very scarce due to the election of you know whom… my ex representative who is against all gun manufacturing… who wanted to drive Springfield out of business by sponsoring legislation outlawing the manufacturing of firearms and ammunition in IL… You guessed it… Obama. This package was very expensive to put together. The package consists of the following items with respective prices…
SA M1A NM With Krieger Barrel $3000
SA Mount $150
Scope Rings $80
Zeiss 3-12x56 Conquest Scope $1500
JAE-100 GEN 2 Precision Rifle Stock for the M1A™ / M14 $599
CHEEK REST $199
BOTTOM 1913 PICATINNY RAIL $49
BIPOD ADAPTER w/SWIVEL STUD $12
BUTT PAD $49
BUTT SPACERS (3) $39
ADJUSTABLE PALM REST w/SPACERS $39
TITANIUM LUG SLIDES-UPGRADE $179
Augmentable Grip $69
Stock Bottom Rest $39
Titanium Powder Based Epoxy Setting & Labor To Put Everything Together $300
Shipping, insurance, handling, transfer… separate shippings on some items… $200
3 extra mags $90
Military Mag Pouches $20
Total Cost Assuming Zero Tax $6613
The rifle has not been fired. It has been dry fired a few times but always with a 308 snap cap. A lot of money, time and attention went into putting this package together. The JAG 100 stock was purchased over one year ago when the prices were about 20 % higher. Every extra component that was available for production and sale one year ago was ordered. The prices I have listed for the Jay Allen components are the recent prices and not the prices from one year ago. Jay Allen has a one year wait on these stocks so if you order one today you will get it delivered one year from now. The rifle is mounted on two Titanium plates and additionally it has been set in Titanium Powder based epoxy. This rifle will never loose its zero as the factory stock rifles tend to do over the years, this setting is good forever. I have included 4 pictures from the manufacturer of the stock so that you can see what the inside of it looks like, all other pictures are of the actual rifle package.
The Scope is a Zeiss 3-12x56. This scope is absolutely amazing, especially for night hunting. Night hunting is illegal in the US but the scope was designed with European hunters in mind and it is perfectly legal to hunt at night in Europe. At least you will get to exploit its night capabilities at dusk and dawn. Zeiss is the leading optics company in the world, they invented many innovations in the scope industry such as coated optics, shock proof and fog proof features, and many, many others. Zeiss actually made the lenses on the Hubble space telescope. The reviews for this scope are amazing. During the testing they froze and then immediately after boiled the scope in boiling water and nothing happened to it, that is the kind of quality and endurance you are getting with it. The scope is HUGE with a 56mm objective and the very wide objective allows you to track pray easily. This scope has a built in automatic parallax adjustment so that as you move from 3 to 12 power the scope is constantly focused. This scope is truly, truly amazing. There are several of them on sale on gunbroker for $1966 but my guy was able to get it for $1500 including tax, so I feel that was a great price. The scope was absolutely brand new and comes with Zeiss rubber covers.
The mount is a Springfield factory mount and the rings are top notch too. They have been mounted on the rifle with blue removable locktite by a very qualified gunsmith. He also bore sighted the scope for 100 yards during that time. Please note, the scope has been bore sighted but not zeroed with live ammo, you will need to zero it to your specific match ammo before taking the rifle long range hunting or on a competition. It is also likely that I will have to remove the mount and scope assembly and wrap them in bubble wrap for shipping, and in this case you will have to have a gunsmith re-zero the scope, but this should not be a problem, I would rather have the package protected then safe the zero of the scope for the trip to your ffl.
The rifle will come with four 20 round magazines. The mags come in two double battle packs that have never been used. The battle packs have belt loops and are made off the same material as Glock pistol frames, they are very resistant yet they flex. They are dark military green in color.
I would prefer to trade this package for five ounces of pure gold. I would prefer five South African Krugerrands but their Swiss counteparts work equally well. As far as motor vehicle trades go I am looking to trade this rifle package for a very nice Motorcycle. The bike must be one that can be sold quickly for around $6,000. The bike must be at least 600cc, if it is 600cc I’m thinking at least a 2007 or newer Suzuki GSX-r with about 1000 miles on it, or a like new 2006 or newer Harley Sporster 883 with very, very low miles might do it as well. Or a Yamaha V-Max would make me happy as well, but must be a newer one not one from the 90s. Or other larger bikes such as the BMW 1200 engine bikes, again, they must be relatively new. I am also open to other bikes, but they must be worth around $6,000 at least. I will also consider a car or boat, but again, the value must be comparable. I would prefer an all wheal drive vehicle, but others will be considered as well. I will be very fair in assessing the value of your bike or car. I might also be interested in trading for a 4x4 Truck or SUV but it must be one that would sell for $6,000 rather quickly. And remember, this is bar none the Best M1A package money and skill can put together. This package is better then the Springfield Factory Carlos Hathcock White Feather package which sells for more, no expense was spared in putting this package together.
I am not an ffl but I must ship the weapon to an ffl. Shipping is free to whomever purchases from me or whoever trades with me as long as your ffl accepts from private individuals, if I have to ship through my ffl then I will still cover the $20 that he charges me for the transfer.
This package is amazing and it drew a crowd when I picked it up from my ffl/gunsmith. The place that did the work is Midwest Firearms in Lyons IL, they are one of the oldest gun shops in the country and they are the only Colt Authorized gunsmith in IL now. They are also a Springfield Armory Warranty Service Center, their gunsmith Neal is the best. Just look at your colt manual and you will find their contact info. Please look at the pictures carefully as I went through a lot of trouble to take them. This package is absolutely brand new and unfired. Either send me a message through this site or for best results email me directly at longkarabine@gmail.com. I strive to answer all emails within 24 hours, if I fail to respond I never got your message so please try again. I sincerely appreciate your time and consideration and I apologize for the long description but this firearm truly warrants a lot of detail in the wording. I have this rifle for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I will not end the auction if there is a bid on it. All the best and May The Second Amendment Live Forever.
