Browning Renaissance Hi-Powers are legendary among arms collectors. Produced in extremely limited numbers, they haven’t been issued in over a decade. The American Historical Foundation, is proud to announce “the renaissance of the Renaissance.” True to the heritage of the name, each pistol is hand built. The limited edition is small (only 750), so rarity will always be great. Of special interest to American arms collectors, this is the first Renaissance ever to specifically honor the United States—appropriate, as our country was the first founded with the principle of Firearms Freedom.

The American Eagle Browning Renaissance Hi-Power is a strictly limited edition of only 750 worldwide. The American Eagle is an appropriate theme, as it symbolizes the courage, strength and independence of all Americans, included our Right to Keep and Bear Arms. Each features special enhancements offered only for this special edition:
• Unusually finely-detailed bas relief etching covers and empanels both sides and the arched top of the pistol, featuring the Great Seal, classic American Oak leaves, inscriptions and fine-line borders.
• In turn, these artistic elements are then selectively plated with 24-Karat Gold, to Jewelers Grade-Heavy thickness, to contrast with the matted-finished, blued field.
• Nine components are mirror polished and plated with 24-Karat Gold: the trigger, hammer, slide stop, safety, grip screws, sights and magazine release.
• The Ivorene grips feature full coverage oak leaves and scrolling. The title “The United States of America” is beribboned on the right grip; the left grip scroll quotes the final stanza of the National Anthem, “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.”
• Each is engraved with its own Limited Edition Registry Number, which is also inscribed on the accompanying Certificate of Authenticity.

I would prefer to trade it for three ounces of pure gold. I would prefer 3 South African Krugerrands but their Swiss counterparts would make me equally happy.
The pistol is absolutely new, the slide has never been pulled back, the hammer has never been cocked. You are getting a brand new pistol, not a used or NIB pistol but a brand new pistol. I hope this will be purchased from someone who will truly appreciate it, as I have too many things going on in life to simply hold such an expensive firearm in my collection. I am hoping to trade this pistol for a Colt Drilling combo 12ga / 30-06 double barrel shotgun one barrel rifle. A J.P. Sauer drilling shotgun/rifle combo would work as well, or a SA Super Match rifle might work as well. Or I might be interested in other things, a nice motorcycle might be acceptable as well, something like a Harley Sporter. Most likely I will probably have to trade this for several firearms of lesser value.
