Each meal is conveniently packaged in a 5-10 serving, zipseal, metalized pouch with an oxygen absorber to ensure an oxygen free environment. This allows you to enjoy a SHELF-LIFE of up to 20 years when stored properly in a cool, dry place. These buckets are designed to provide 2,000 calories a day when you select 6 or more servings of your favorite meals each day. From delicious, creamy soups like Hearty Potato and Cheddar Broccoli to organic freeze-dried fruit, everyone can find a favorite meal. Meals Included: Oatmeal; Polenta(Corn Grits); Eggs; Chicken Flavored Vegetable Stew; Beef Flavored Vegetable Stew; Hearty Potato Soup; Western Chili; Cheddar Broccoli Soup; Red Beans and Rice Lindon Farms™ uses a combination of freeze-dried and dehydrated ingredients. In some cases freeze-dried is ideal, and for other items dehydration is most appropriate. For example, a freeze-dried strawberry is convenient since rehydration is unnecessary and it can be consumed easily in cereal or as a snack. Another example would be freeze-dried lasagna with meat where it is frozen, dried and packaged for easy rehydration. In soups and other mixes where the ingredients will be reydrated in warm or boiling water, dehydrated ingredients are best. When space is a concern dehydrated ingredients can take up less than a 1/3 of the space that freeze-dried ingredients do. The most important factors in long-term shelf life foods are: 1. Ingredients: Are the ingredients suitable for long-term shelf life? a. For example: even in ideal storage conditions studies show almonds may only keep for 12-24 months before they turn rancid. 2. Moisture Free: Is the product moisture free when packaged? 3. Packaging: Packaging plays a crucial role in prolonging shelf life. Ideally packaging should provide an effective barrier against oxygen, moisture, light and insects. 4. Oxygen Free: Is the product packaged with an appropriately sized oxygen absorber? While appropriate for oxygen displacement in most packaged foods you would find at the grocery store, a nitrogen flush is not sufficient for long-term shelf life. An appropriately sized oxygen absorber will continue to remove oxygen for years if used properly. Be wary of companies with extensive shelf-life claims where oxygen absorbers are not used. 5. Storage conditions: a cool, dry location is ideal. Do your best to store your food storage items at or below room temperature. *This information is relatively conservative and meant to be used as a guideline, but is in no way a guarantee. *Moisture Free – dehydrated and freeze-dried ingredients can reach 97%+ moisture free status. How to pay!
At the close of the auction you will emailed
an invoice and link to combine all of your auction items and pay at one
time. Shipping weights will be combined for best rates. You will be
able to select your shipping methods and payments type. We will send you
our contact information in the winners email or you can get it from Gun Broker after
the auction has closed.

same time to save on shipping cost.

We ship all packages by FedEx
or USPS Priority Mail only so please provide a valid address. If you are
not familiar with FedEx or USPS rates, please use the estimator. Many
people order several items at once and they will be combined to save on
shipping. When you finish selecting your items on Gun Broker and the auctions
have closed, we will sent an invoice that will combine everything for one low
shipping charge.

Survival is not responsible for e-mail failures. By bidding on our item, you
agree to assume the responsibility to establish communication with us by any
means necessary. If you do not get an e-mail response from us, you
understand it is due to a communication failure beyond our control and you
accept full responsibility. If we do not receive payment from you within 7 days,
we will attempt to communicate with you by e-mail or phone during normal
business hours. You also agree that under no circumstance will you damage us
due to communication failure. If you are unable to pay us through our invoicing
system or by mail, we will file a non-payment form in order to recover our
fees. You understand this is not our attempt to damage you, but it is our
only means to recover fees for non-payment. You also agree not to damage
us for attempting to recover our fees for non-payment.
Typos and Errors.
Sometimes errors in price or description
may occur. If this occurs, neither party will be obligated to complete the sale.
At the time we list our products on Gun Broker, they are in stock. If
stock runs out before the auction ends, we make every effort to end the
auction. However, on rare occasions an out of stock condition may
exist. If this happens, we are normally not out of stock for more than
one week. If an extended period exists, then you or we may cancel the order at
any time and a full refund will be given. By bidding on our items, you agree to
these terms and conditions. If a typo occurs, you agree not to hold
