I have been gunsmithing for the past 20+ years. I am a tool and die maker by trade and I am a licensed gunsmith. up for sale is a Service I offer. I will ream and tap your shotgun barrel to accept screw in choke tubes. This is for 12 or 20 ga. Shotguns. You send me your barrel I take your barrel bore it and tap it for win choke, Remchoke or tru choke (12 and 20 in tru choke, , Tru choke for thinner barrels or tru choke 2 for double barrels side by side or over / under doubles are $150. This way you can change choke tubes on your old favorite shotgun that at present has a fixed choke and make it more versatile. You ship me your barrel I do the service and ship it back to you. My turn around time is quick 4-5 days from time barrel comes in it is back in the mail back to you. Barrel must measure .845" o.d. to be able to accept win choke or rem choke. on thinner barrels I can tap for tru chokes and on the thinnest barrels double and over and under I can do the Tru choke II which is for thin barrels. This is done on a lathe that is dedicated for barrel work. This does not include a choke with it but chokes can be purchased separately I have in stock win chokes (Modified, Full, and X full turkey @ $19.00 each Choke tube wrench is $5.00, Tru chokes in above chokes are $19 each, this auction is for non chrome lined barrels chrome lined is an addition $10 the chrome must be removed prior to reaming and tapping. buyer pays actual shipping from my place to yours never a packing or handling fee here. return shipping includes insurance.
