Description for Item # 329415792

Up for auction is an excellent example of a Astra 600/43 with the rare Portuguese Navy Mark(MRP). MRP stands for Marinha Real Portuguese. This was a contract for only 800 pistols. The serial # range for this contract is 44501-45300. This particular example is serial # 44662 so it is a more early example. These were sold after WWII to the Ministry of the Navy in Lisbon, Portugual in 1951. This particular pistol is all numbers matching including the barrel, frame, and slide. The pictures below show this. The blue would rate very good with only minor flaws as shown in the pictures below. The bore is very good + and can be clearly seen below. The grips are the correct black plastic that all of the contract pistols were delivered with. The pistol is chambered in 9mm parabellum. This is an excellent example of a very small contract. A collector quality piece. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a rare collectible. The gun must be shipped to a valid FFL or C&R License holder, no onsite pickups for PA residents no exceptions. No sales to California residents. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska will cost more than the standard flat $30.00 fee. This firearm has a three day non-firing, non-disassembly inspection period that starts from the date the item is received by your dealer. If unsatisfied this item can be returned for a refund of the purchase price minus all shipping costs and the listing fees as long as notification of your intent to return has been received within the three day period. Insurance on the firearm is not included in the shipping cost please inquire upon winning the bid for insurance cost.
