Description for Item # 329564539

This is an amnesty registered Japanese Type 100 submachine gun that was deactivated at the time of the amnesty.The barrel has been plugged. It looks like lead, but I tried melting it so it must be something harder. I tried digging at it with a screw driver as you can see the marks in the picture. It might be weld but looks to smooth - like it was poured into the chamber? I tried to get good pictures showing it.Everything else is fine and all numbers match. There is no magazine. It is fully transferable and now on a form 3.

I examined the plugged barrel more closely. It does have a steel rod about 2" into the barrel from the chamber and I assume that it is welded in the chamber. I would say the barrel probably needs to be replace to rewat it.
