BOX OF 12MM PINFIRE CARTRIDGES – CIVIL WAR IMPORT

This is full box of pinfire cartridges. The box is in perfect condition and still has the original paper string holding it closed. The box is heavy cardboard, and is covered in a green and white checkered label. There is a separate oval label attached on top. This label has “CARTOUCHES 12 Millimetes. Houllier-Blanchard, Arquebusier brevete PARIS, A LONGUE PORTEE”.

This is really a rare find, and would be a prime piece in any collection. These were manufactured in Paris France, and were imported into the United States. They were made during the time of the Civil War. Pinfires were a great alternative to percussion revolvers. They were used in the Lefauchex revolvers, and the North imported a number of them for the military. They were self contained and there was no loose powder or caps to deal with.

The cartridges are original and loaded. This will have to ship UPS ground ORM-D. While in good shape, consider these collectibles only.

  • All cartridges must go UPS ground, and will be marked ORM-D Small Arms Cartridges.
  • If you buy more than one item, and they can be shipped together, then shipping can be reduced.
  • There is a 3 day inspection period. If not happy, just return it.
  • Returns must be in the original condition, and insured. Refunds are less all costs and fees.
  • Shipments are only made to the continental U.S. No sales to CA, NYC, NJ, Chicago or anywhere else that restricts shipments. Please follow your local laws.
  • Buyer must send proof that they are over 21 years old. A copy of a driver’s license will suffice. You can block out the DL#.
  • Illinois buyers must send a copy of their FOID card.
  • Trades for US military items would be considered instead of cash.
  • Seller has the right to void sales if payment/documents are not received within five business days.
