Description for Item # 330146560

German WWII K98 Bayonet with Scabbard (1941 cul "E.Pack & Sohn): This bayonet includes a 9-7/8" blade with 98% original blue finish. The serial numbered bayonet and scabbard almost have matching serial numbers, #3858f blued blade & #3859F blued scabbard. The maker code is "41 cul": The original grips are smooth wood. There are WaA stamps to pommel and ball of scabbard. The serial numbered scabbard retains the original blued finish that matches the bayonet. Scabbard also retains the original finish. This item is in overall Excellent Condition and is considered a very rare piece with one number part in the serial number. This is most likely a depot find or factory pulled mis-match serial numbers.
