This is number two (photo is of the same exact model number one) of a recent production run of six late 19Th. century style 10 Ga. signal/salute guns.
The material used for the barrel is 17-4 PH H1150 high strength boat shaft material. All of the mounting hardware is made from standard marine grade stainless steel chain plate material.
The breech block is of the typical US military sliding block type which is secured with cam action and a minimum of necessary moving parts requirements. The breech block stays attached and does not have to be fully removed for loading and firing etc. The firing of the piece is effected by a smart pull on a cable lanyard blocking key which is attached to a pivot pin in the cascabel knob.
Measures 16" overall length and 2 1/2" diameter at the trunnion band.
The base in our photographs is for our display and not for firing. It is not included as part of this listing however we can produce firing bases and display boxes for those who would like to have them.
Please note: We are sold out of this model right now but we are leaving this listing active with a two to four week production lead time to deliver. Thank you.
All checks take two weeks to process. USPS MO's are the best and yield a fastest deliveries. Thank you.
