If you've been looking for one of these special limited edition PTR Classic models, then this rifle is for you!
What makes this rifle so special is a combination of things.........
As far as I know, PTR only has made these Classic Black's for one wholesaler distributor and that's it.
This Classic model comes with a black finish plus black stock / slim line handguard. It's truely a striking combination!
This model also features a match grade HK profile target barrel but more importantly a HK spec chamber......this means you can feed this rifle everything from clean American made ammo to dirty foreign made military surplus ammo with primer and bullet crimp sealers. Long story short, this rifle will be more reliable!
This rifle also has an original HK pre-ban flash hider, drum style fully adjustable rear sight, Navy type polymer trigger group, and 18" match grade barrel. Comes with a nice hard case, all factory paperwork including manual, and gun lock.

Caliber: 7.62 NATO (.308 Winchester), Operation: semi-automatic recoil operated weapon with delayed roller-locking system, Overall length: 40.5 inches (1.016 cm), Weight w/o magazine: 9.5 lbs., Sight radius: 22.52 inches.
List of improved parts and descriptions (taken from PTR 91’s website):
Semi-automatic receiver (US): manufactured from .059 stamped steel, and to correct specifications, making for effortless assembly and disassembly. The recesses for the engaging of the original scope claw mount have been CNC machined with the proper angles in order to have flawless claw mount operation.
Front sight blade (US): made of laser cut and heat treaded steel to exact specifications.
Barrel (US): 18-inch HK profile match grade target barrel with a 1 in 10 inch twist.
Trunion (US): fully machined and manufactured to original specifications.
Cocking tube: new, with excellent fitting and perfect functioning.
Furniture: high quality polymer and interchangeable with HK-91 and G-3, consisting of US MADE Navy style pistol grip housing and black furniture.
Finish (Classic model): Black.
The PTR-91 comes with a 20 round magazine, but it also accepts 5, 10 and 20 round magazines from H&K-91, G-3 and CETME.

PAYMENT TERMS:
Doing business with NorthStar Sporting Goods, LLC is easy……….following these 4 steps will ensure a smooth transaction, fast shipment, and positive feedback from us on GunBroker!
#1 FIND A TRANSFERRING DEALER………….if you already have a transferring dealer, please skip this step. If you don’t have a transferring dealer, check out GunBroker’s “Find a Transfer Dealer” service listed under the “For Buyers” tab. If you need help finding a transferring dealer, just let us know.
#2 COMMUNICATE WITH US……….please make sure all your contact info in GunBroker is correct because if you are a winning bidder, we’ll email you an invoice within a day or so of the auction closing. Please let us know that you’ve received the invoice. If we don’t hear from you within a couple of days of auction close, we'll call you.
#3 ASK TRANSFERRING DEALER TO SEND THEIR FFL………… Federal law is very clear when it comes to the proper way a FFL needs to be certified by the holder and how it is to be properly transmitted to us. Basically the FFL needs to be legible, not expired, and all fields need to be filled out. Any deviation from federal law or BATF guidelines WHATSOEVER may result in delays with processing your order.
Having said all of this, here’s some friendly advice regarding this step:
As soon as you become a winning bidder, ask your dealer to either fax or email a LEGIBLE copy of their license to us. Our fax number is 952-388-1418 and our email address is todd@northstargoods.com.
PLEASE DO NOT MAIL US A FFL WITH A PHOTOCOPIED SIGNATURE. It says on the license itself that the FFL holder’s signature must be an original signature so if you mail us a FFL with a photocopied signature, we can’t accept it as well. A fax or email will completely eliminate the photocopied signature problem so it’s our advice to not even bother with sending us a hard copy license from your dealer.
Sure would be nice if your transferring dealer writes their phone number and your name somewhere on the fax or email so if there are any issues, they can be resolved as quickly as possible plus I’ll know the FFL is for your purchase.
#4 PROMPTLY PAY FOR YOUR PURCHASE………….we accept money orders or cashier’s checks made out to “NorthStar Sporting Goods, LLC”. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover as well. Paying with a credit card is fast and it’s a secure way of doing business with us but it only has one drawback……....all of our prices reflect a cash or certified fund discount so if you want to use a credit card, we need to add 3.5% to your invoice. SORRY………NO BUSINESS OR PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED. Sales tax (for MN residents) and shipping / handling charges are above and beyond the price of the item. If you want to send your payment via USPS 1st class within a day or two of winning your auction, that’s fine with us.
We don’t mean to be pushy but if we don’t receive payment within 7 days of auction close, the item will be relisted, negative feedback will be posted, and a non-paying bidder report will be filed with GunBroker. We understand things happen or folks change their minds but this is the only way GunBroker will refund our final value fee and allow us to relist the item without paying for another auction listing.

FILLING YOUR ORDER……………..if you want your order to be shipped as soon as possible, it’s best to let your transferring dealer know that we normally ship handguns via USPS Priority Mail and long guns via UPS Ground. Since it is a violation of federal law to ship handguns UPS Ground or FedEx Ground, we will not ship handguns in this manner under any circumstances. UPS normally ships handguns next day air but they will ship two day air if you have an account set up with them and we do. Unless you work for certain firearm manufacturers or distributors, FedEx only ships handguns overnight next day and they typically charge anywhere from $80 to $120 for this service. If your transferring dealer insists upon only accepting UPS or FedEx handgun shipments, be prepared to pay for it. My advice is to find another transferring dealer because there is absolutely no reason why they can’t accept a handgun shipment via USPS or long gun shipment via UPS Ground. We charge $25 to ship handguns and $35 to ship long guns anywhere in the lower 48 states. A tracking number will be emailed to you same day as shipment. If you want overnight shipping or insurance just let us know and we’ll have to quote you a price.
ATTENTION WALK-IN CUSTOMERS……………...Please note we are not a “bricks and mortar” store front. All visits by customers must be made by appointment only. Also note that any inventory displayed by NorthStar Sporting Goods, LLC on GunBroker or any other internet site is actually located in an off-site secure storage area. If you wish to look at a particular firearm, please set up an appointment and we’ll make the firearm available for inspection. If your transferring dealer doesn't have a high cap mag permit, it's no problem for us to ship the firearm without the mag. If the firearm is an "off-list" assault weapon, we are familiar with the required process to ship the firearm to your transferring dealer and the modifications that are needed to make the firearm legal to own in CA. If any questions regarding "off-list" assault weapons, please contact us. Please note that we are not insured to repair or modify firearms so we will not be able to install any parts to make a firearm legal in CA. And lastly, if the firearm is a handgun it's the buyer's responsibility to determine if this item is on the CA approved handgun list or not. Please note the uneven black finish and on the black furniture is due to oil from the factory.
We don't alter or modify firearms for taking photos. Basically we opened the case, gave it a quick visual inspection, and snapped these photos.

Hi everyone,
Prices for these PTR's will be increasing in the next few days.
I've been pretty lucky to get my hands on these PTR's at a reasonable price. Just submitted an order to my supplier and the cost on these jumped 44% and they are nearly out of stock. As soon as my latest order arrives, I'll have no choice but to raise my price.
Also keep in mind the jackasses in Washington D.C. will be rolling out a new assault weapon ban during the first week of January so demand for these will jump as soon as this crap hits the media.
If you've wanted one of these but are monitoring prices for now, my advice is to buy now before it's too late.
