Description for Item # 330445799

Antique Bronze ships rail cannon from the late 1600's to 1750. Probably Portuguese made. 48" long 1-3/8 bore 70+ pounds. The casabel is meant for inserting a sighting pole. The trunnion is below center. The patina is a even dark brown with green hints. The ornamentation is minimal as this was a fighting cannon. The casting is excellent and appears to be sound. I have not fired this cannon, but have others like it . considering the quality and weight this is priced very reasonably. Shipping, actual charges plus insurance.This cannon is too heavy for US mail please do your research as to best way to ship. I will pack well and deliver to local service no extra charge. 3 day return less all shipping and insurance.
