T37 FLASH HIDER - GARAND

Designed primarily for the sniper rifle, the prong flash hiders, helped keep the shooters location a better secret. A later flash hider was the prong style. It was fitted on by replacing the gas/muzzle ring on the Garand rifles. These were used on the M1D or M1C sniper rifles. This one is an original, and has the appropriate machining marks where it screws onto the rifle. This came from the CMP and is in the original wrapping. I opened it for the first time to take these pictures. I just wiped it down with a cloth, and it is perfect. All of these sniper parts are becoming increasingly hard to come by. As the CMP continues to issue the rifles, the parts have been escalating quickly in price.
