Description for Item # 330469468

CIVIL WAR - ENFIELD CONE CAPS - FULL

During the US Civil War, both the Union and Confederates bought arms and ammunition from the English. This is a roll of Enfield musket caps, known as a cone of caps. It was a stiff dry cone made from pressed paper. It held about 12 musket caps, and one was issued with each package of enfield cartridges. Included in the pics are images from the book The British Soldiers Firearms. They have pictures of the cones in their shipping packages, and then there are pics of the loose cones. Book not included. This cone is in great shape, and has its caps inside. This is an extremely rare pack of caps, with an understandibly low survival rate. What a wonderful addition to your Civil War or Enfield rifle collection...

Shipping must be by UPS Ground ORM-D. Proof of age (over 21) is required.

Returns must be in the original condition, and insured.
Refunds are less all fees.
Shipments are only made to the Continental United States. No PO Boxes as its UPS.
