Description for Item # 330595103

US M1 Garand ½” HRA DOD stock. I call it an HRA due to no indentation by the right rear of the receiver, excess wood behind the receiver, thickness of the stock and curvature of the grip area. Stock has been stripped with paint stripper but not sanded. There has been no attempt to sweat out dents. Half inch (1/2) DOD cartouche is slightly below the surface of the wood. Circled P proof is clear and distinct and below the surface. There is a deep rack number stamped into the right rear of the stock. In my opinion, it could not be sanded out without filling. The only other area with a deep dent is just in front of the floor plate cause by rack storage. Other that those two areas the balance of the stock has only a few deeper bangs with the remainder slight surface scratching. No cracks or chips. There is light tiger striping on the left rear of the stock. Sold as is.
