Description for Item # 330736921

This is my 4th of 6 rifles I am selling from my private collection. It is a Remington 798 in 270 Winchester caliber. Very reliable, Mauser type action. It is in outstanding, lightly used condition. Very handsome and durable laminated wood stock. Very minor handling/use marks on wood. Blue is excellent with a super fine, hairline scratch on bottom side of barrel. Comes with a sighted in Leupold VX3 3.5-10x with original neoprene cover. Leupold rings and 2 piece bases. Scope is also in beautiful condition. Only the slightest marks are visible under close scrutiny. Scope perfectly matches the rifle in finish, balance and its mid to long range capabilities. It has been professionally mounted, rings lapped and very comfortable eye relief. Very accurate rifle. In my opinion, one of the best choices for a not so common, big game hunting rifle that is not priced out of sight. I have only several transactions on GunBroker. All positive.
