Original German WW2 NSDAP party badge in gold large version
This item depicted in the images below is an original NSDAP (National Socialist German Labor Party = party) party pin in gold, which was one of the highest levels NSDAP party members could reach. According to Hitler himself "only the best national socialists are party members". Therefore the elected number of NSDAP members who were elevated to the gold members status were considered the elite. This particular award is in excellent condition and stamped on the back. The size is 30 mm. That variant badge was awarded only 650 times by Hitler as a special token of esteem.
Reference: D.NIEMANN, Price guide. Orders and decorations Germany 1871-1945, 2004, p.303, catalogue price is 3000 EURO ($4000) - five years ago! As you know now all prices much more... . Three years ago the same badge was selling for $3327 - look at here (Code: 30274).
This is a true piece of History.
