EXTREMELY
rare ORIGINAL GERMAN Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross with swords
This item depicted in the images
below is an original German WW II Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross with
swords. This rare award was issued by either the highest of German
military officials or even Adolf Hitler himself. The award was introduced in
recognition of highly valuable services performed for the Third Reich by Germans
and German Allies. Frequently, the Knights Cross of the War Merit Cross was
given to Intelligence officers whose identity was essential to remain secret or
diplomats. In many respects this award is one of the most desirable among
collectors of German WWII military. The item is marked "1" on the bottom and
made of 900 silver. Size is 52 x 58 mm. ONLY
120 awards were made !!

Detlev Niemann in "Price Guide. Orders and decorations Germany"
2004, put 3200 EURO ($4000 - six years ago!!) for that nice award. Here
is a special offering with a great investment potential.
