Up for bid is a very good, unfired new in box, Colt Model 1862 Police Revolver; 2nd Generation F Series (SN 53796); mfg. ca. 1980; .36-cal.; 5-shot half-fluted cylinder; 5 1/2-inch barrel; one piece grips; casehardened frame, loading lever, plunger, and hammer; Colt blue barrel and cylinder; silver-plated brass backstrap and triggerguard. Comes in original black cardboard box bearing Samuel Colt portrait with paperwork. Could use some surface cleanup (has been sitting in box for 30+ years). Black powder, so no FFL required; however, sales to New Jersey and NYC require FFL to purchase. Bidder please know your own state gun laws, and whether it’s legal to purchase in home state. Winning bidder must submit proof of age (21 years of age). Please remit payment within seven days of auction. I accept most forms of payment (see above). Add 2.5% to the final sale price if purchasing by debit or credit card. Shipping is $25.00. Sales to AK or HI will require an extra $25.00 surcharge for shipping. Arizona residents must pay 9.2% sales tax. Sorry, no local pickups.
