This Remington 700 replacement stock has many advantages over the manufacturer's original equipment. Accuracy International Chassis System) features: No special gunsmithing required for the quick and easy installation Full length aluminum self aligning self bedding vee block AICS Stocks have a metal and polymer structure which provide exceptional strength and durability Includes Accuracy International adjustable cheek piece Accuracy International folding stock available on 2.0 models Fore-end bipod mount for lower center of gravity bipod shooting Thumb hole stock design for increased comfort and stability Each AICS stock is supplied with one magazine. If your cartridge is not the one mentioned above but falls into the same caliber family you will not need gunsmithing. Example the .308 Winchester magazine is a perfect match for the .243 Winchester and .260 Remington. Unfortuantely magazines are not available for all calibers.
