Description for Item # 331368493

I picked this shield up sometime ago from a gun deal at a local show. He took it in on trade for a gun. I am not sure if this is a REAL Laapland Shield or a REPRODUCTION. If REAL this is a very rare shield. It as given out in March 1945 by the 20th Mountain Army Group. Each company made there own shield so not all of these shield are a like. There is five hole in the shield so it can be sew on a uniform. It looks crudly made which looks like made it is made at the company level. PLEASE NOTE that there is no swastika on this shield. It was made that way. The starting bid is $100.00. If this is real you are getting on heck of a deal on it because this is a very rare shield. If it is a reproduction well that is the chance you take. Look at the pictures as they say more then I can. PLEASE READ ALL RULES BEFORE BIDDING: I prefer money order but will except a personal check. I will hold the item for 10 days for check to clear the bank. I will also except PAYPAL. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A 5% EXTRA CHARGE ON THE TOTAL FOR USING PAYPAL. Postage and insurance on this item will be $6.00.
