Elevation compensating, Solid Steel Replacement Barrel Block for 10/22 Rifle's.

A "Gunsmither" ™ brand original. Solid Steel, replacement barrel block for your 10/22 rifle, with built in "barrel droop" compensating screw. Designed primarily for factory original barrels when they are "Free Floated", or any loose fitting barrel. Pushes loose barrel up slightly to eliminate the need for unsightly scope mount shims caused by the factory wedge shaped barrel locking block, which pulls the barrel downward, causing "barrel droop", and negative scope elevation adjustment.

Many scopes don't have enough elevation adjustment to overcome the infamous "barrel droop" on 10/22's. This ingenious little gem gets rid of the "barrel droop", and takes out the play in the barrel/receiver joint. Allows extra positive elevation for your scope.

Easy installation requires very minor fitting skills; about a 10 minute job, easily done by anyone. Excellent, illustrated instructions included. CNC machined in the USA from Solid Steel barstock; it is not a flimsy casting like the breakage prone factory part, nor easily deformed Aluminum, like some copycat models.
