STRAIGHT FROM A VET ESTATE IN BAVARIA,THIS IS AN AMAZING FIND,AN ORIGINAL 1930'S, PRIVATE PURCHASE lUFTWAFFE PILOT JACKET IN A VERY GOOD CONDITION FOR ITS AGE.THIS ONE IS A SUMMER TYPE, NOT AS HEAVY AND IN BROWN, IT IS MADE OF A LIGHT HORSEHIDE LEATHER WITH A GREEN LINER, NO RIPS, MAJOR STAINS, JUST A COUPLE OF FIELD REPAIR ON THE LINING, REALIZE THE JACKET IS OVER 80 YEARS OLD AND SURVIVED TOTAL DESTRUCTION.JUST LOOK AT THE PICTURE OF THE BACK OF THE JACKET, I PIECE OF LEATHER!!!! NO DOUBT THE GERMAN SOLDIER WAS AN ARISTOCRAT, IMAGINE THE PRICE OF MAKING THAT JACKET.... YOU WILL NEVER OUTLIVE THIS LEATHER JACKET, YOU WILL PASS IT ON TO YOUR CHILDREN, THIS IS A GREAT INVESTMENT. ALL THE ZIPPERS ARE IN GREAT CONDITIONS, RITSCH,PUSH BUTTON, AUTO DURABEL. THE JACKET DID NOT COME WITH A BREST EAGLE, AND I CANNOT SEE ANY HOLES TO TELL ME AN EAGLE WAS EVER AFFIXED ON THE JACKET, NOT ALL OF THE PILOTS WERE WEARING THE EAGLE. THE SLEEVES ARE 24" LONG, SHOULDER TO SHOULDER,19.5", LENGHT FROM BACK IS 23.5" AND THE CHEST SIZE IS 22.5", PIT TO PIT. REMEMBER THIS IS A PILOT JACKET AND IT IS SHORT! THE JACKET IS VERY WEARABLE AND A RARE GEM FOR THE COLLECTOR. I WILL SHIP IN THE US FOR $15. PLEASE REVIEW MY OTHER ITEMS.
