Description for Item # 331467324

A best quality London hammergun on a very early Jones underlever sidelock non-rebounding action. 29 1/2" fancy damascus barrels with damascus ribs and lots of pattern still visible. Shiny bores with some very light pitting. Open chokes and minimum wall thickness of .28 in both bores. Bores are .726 at 6 inches. Highly engraved sidelocks, hammers and reciever with all metal surfaces in very nice condition. Engraving is very fine and all very sharp. 15" Length of pull. AAA highly figured English walnut straight grip stock. Checkered horn buttplate. Drop is about 1 1/2" and 2 1/2". Wedgefast forend. Checkering is still pretty nice with normal wear. Stock is worn around the receiver and has probably been refinished at some point. Numbers all match and gun is tight and on face. Comes in a reproduction case with accessories and label. A true London best hammergun by a highly respected maker. Make an offer.
