Description for Item # 331631669

Up for auction is a special custom knife made by famous Louisiana knife maker Mike Sanders. This is the prototype knife that represented a special run of limited number of knifes that Mike made which was advertised in the Louisiana Conservationist monthly magazine. I included some pics of the magazine. This is the only prototype knife. This knife has a 440-C stainless steel blade with a Rockwell C hardness of 58C, the guard is of 415 stainless steel, the handles or covers are of India Stage, last is the custom leather sheath for this knife which of course was made by Mike. As seen on the pic it is engraved prototype and its a beauty. I have the Copy of the Louisiana Conservationist signed by Mike on the article about the knife. Also included is the original certificate of origin dated March 20 1997. Please see pics. Three day inspection if returned as shipped. Please include $15 for shipping and insurance.
