A very good FRONTIER STYLE muzzle-loading rifle, with a 33" x 7/8" octagon barrel with a very good 45 caliber flared bore, with adjustable Buckhorn type rear sight, and brass front blade sight. The stock is Tiger Maple, in excellent condition with the exception of (1) good repair right side of barrel tang, with a very good brass patch box, and heel plate. Workmanship is 90+ overall. The brass side plate reads, "45 Big Dunner 74",in script. No other markings. All brass is inlaid and finish is original, gun has been cleaned. Ram rod included.
Overall this rifle rates at least 95%.
