"ANTIQUE TRACTOR" 1957 "FARMALL" McCORMICK-INTERNATIONAL-HARVESTER Model-130 "Offset" Farm/Ranch Tractor; S/N 4183J. These "Little Red Machines" were a Working Man's Farm Tractors (9,197 total manufactured) and were made for only three years: 1956, 1957 & 1958. These Farmall's weighed 2,710 lbs. and a Tractor cost $1,950.00 brand new in 1957. (Woods belly Mower was an additional $680.00) The "Remanufactured" Original Factory Engine is an IHC C-123 4 Cylinder 22 HP Gasoline Engine, 4 Forward & 1 Reverse Manual Transmission, with a good working condition "Woods" 5 Ft. 3-Blade Belly Finish Mower. I have used it during the Summer to mow around my 8 Acre Lake! "Original FARMALL-Factory Components" complete with Chassis/Engine Serial Numbers & Data Tags intact. Fully functional and operational Tractor with the "Original Factory Operations Manual". The Tractor has been converted from a 6VDC Generator to a more efficient & reliable 12VDC Electrical Alternator System, and has the original Factory Independent Hydraulic-Dual Front & Rear FARMALL Touch-Control Lifts, Heavy-Duty Adjustable (44" - 68") "Wide-Tread" Front Axle, Adjustable (40" - 60") width rear Wheels, Draw-Bar, Live & Dormant Independent PTO's and has the Hydraulically Operated Implement & Work Attachments Lifts. The Farmall 100 Series Tractors were made from 1954-1956, the 130 Series from 1956-1958 and the 140 Series of Tractors were produced from 1958 through 1981. They were designed specifically for "One-Row Plow" Implements and to perform serious Small Farm & Ranch Work. FARMALL/I-H Tractors were "Fondly" refered to as; "The Little Red Tractor's in the Shed"! You can still see many of these Number Series Models and the "McCormick/Farmall International Harvester CUB" RED-Tractors in use today! As a matter of fact; there is a wine on the market today labeled; "TRACTOR SHED RED" (See the photo's at the end) and if you win this Auction, I will send a bottle along with the Tractor! This was a West Texas Tractor, contains very little rust and no mechanical problems; other than a blown head-gasket & cracked block; when I bought it in "barely" running condition. I have included a photo copy of the Invoice; where I paid for over $3,300.00 of Labor & Material Work performed. Which does not include the actual cost for the Tractor & Mower. The required Engine work completed; replacement engine block, "New Overhaul Kit"- .20" over pistons, rings, crank resurfaced, bearings, head & valve work, REBUILT THE FOLLOWING "New Old Stock": Starter, Carb., Pump, Radiator, etc... new Tractor Seat & IH/Farmall Cover/Cushion, New Battery Box & Interstate Battery; everything operates, Hydraulics, Gages work and engine purrs like a kitten and runs like a new Tractor (No Smoke). Two rear tires are in very good 85% condition and front tires will need replacing!
WEEKEND FARMERS & PLOWBOYS: Most of The "Hard-Work" is completed for you! This Baby has some original finish and/or is primed and ready for your own "Labor Of Love" to either finish cleaning and paint. She is already assembled; or for a more thorough final disassembly & meticulous reassembly for sheet-metal (All original sheet-metal is in excellent condition, except for rust-out in the right fender well & it can be easily repaired) refinish & paint all of the "RED IRON"! Buyer is responsible for handling & paying for shipment; from my Central Texas Cattle Ranch (Centerville, Texas 75833)! I am planning for retirement soon and have too many TOYS! COLLECTORS: Most of the HARD WORK has been done for you!
This "Little Red Tractor" is ready for you to complete the finishing cosmetic touches and a paint job, or put her to work as she is! She needs to be adopted; driven & worked and a new shed over her "RED" Head! ***BIDDERS*** The Minimum Reserve Price is "Much-Less Than" the combined total for what I initially paid for the Tractor and the cost of repairs. Weekend Farmers & Ranchers; this Little RED Tractor is a "REAL BARGAIN"!
| [Information added 12/20/2012 2:04:14 PM] | | ***Weekend Farmers & Ranchers*** I just completed my Winterization for all of my Farm/Ranch Equipment; all of which are stored inside of my Large Implement Shed/Hay Barn. After draining unused gas out of Tractors that will not be used until Spring; I noticed that the old front tires of the "F-130" were flat. Upon removal of the Tires & Wheel Assemblies; I realized that one Rim was rusted through at the Valve-Stem Hole and the other Rim was not in a very good repairable condition either. As stated in the Text of the Original Auction Description; "the Front Tires need to be replaced"! I ordered two new replacement Rims and two Tractor Tires & Tubes with Farm use tread. The New Rims and mounted Tractor Tires were picked up and are shown in Photo's #37 through #45! These assemblies will be installed onto the Tractor and this additional cost adds almost another $400.00 to the value of the Tractor! |
