We have for auction a nice vintage pair of Daisy Manufacturing Company lever action BB rifles. The 1st rifle is a Daisy Model #111 Western Carbine (Red Ryder Model) with a silk screen picture of a Cougar or Mountain Lion on the side of the frame. This nice vintage Daisy was made at the Rogers AR. production facility dating back to the 1960’s. The rifle is in good condition, and appears in good working order with all factory original parts. How ever there is a well repaired crack in the butt stock, and appears to be solid and perfectly functional. The 2nd rifle we are auctioning is a vintage Daisy Manufacturing Model #80 Lever Action Rifle named the "Daisy Long Rifle" This is a rare and hard to find variation that dates back to 1954, and was made at the Plymouth MI. production facility. This particular Daisy model was a short production run of 4 years. This early vintage example is in perfect working order, but has been repainted, and the lever is cracked. The barrel stamping is difficult to read, but does state that the rifle is a Daisy Model #80, with the butt stock stamping also verifing the model. Again this particular Daisy rifle model is a very rare and highly sought after model by serious Daisy collectors. Both of these fine vintage Daisy rifles appear to be in perfect working order with all original parts intact including the internal shot tubes, therefore we see no reason they would not function just fine with proper care and maintainance. However we do not guarantee the function of any vintage or classic air guns that we sell. We simply cannot guarantee seals and springs in these older air guns since they have been out of production for many years. It is our opinion that most of these older collectable air guns are now highly sought after by collector’s therefore shooting them may actually ruin or decrease their collector value. Therefore all vintage & classic air guns are "Sold As Is Collectors Items Only" and we leave the determination of functionality up to their new owners if they wish to actually shoot them. This is a very nice collector’s lot for those collecting vintage Daisy air guns.
