Description for Item # 332448966

Here is what I consider to be one of the finest rifles I have ever had in my store. This is a Kirby Custom 220 swift made from a Mauser Model 98 and as you can see in the pictures it is the real deal. Every action on this rifle has a matching ser# of 891. Kirby made this rifle and an 8mm that I will also post on here for a very good friend of his many years ago. He went to great lenghts to make sure all ser# matched throughout the rifles. The stock was custom made as well, the checkering is all hand cut. The elder man that Kirby built these guns for walked into my store said that he is selling these guns because his and the wives health care has shot up so much that he has no choice. These rifles has had 1 owner from the day they was built. The ammo in the pictures is all that he has ever owned for this gun, he reloaded 1 box and shot a total of 2 1/2 boxes through it. The ammo does go with this rifle but will be shipped sep. if you do not want the ammo let me know. The barrel is a semi heavy 26" barrel,The gun has a 12 power Spot-Shot R.A Litschert scope on it. The bore is very very sharp, like new. A stunning rifle it is. Shipping and insurance for gun and ammo will be $60.00 Gun will be shippied in padded case.
