This nice condition Model 1906 was the first semi-auto manufactured by Winchester. This is an early one, made in the first full year of production. The bore and chamber are very good. It functions mechanically (although we have not fired it). The top of the barrel was drilled for a scope mount or rear sight. There are repairable cracks on either side of the wrist area and the fore end is cracked on the right side, which is also repairable. The metal finish is over 90% with thinning blue around the receiver. It has a standard steel crescent buttplate with an excellent magazine tube. The gun is shown with a brick of correct ammunition, which is NOT for sale.
