Description for Item # 332830015

This is a rare Walther ac 45 marked "d" block K43 Rifle with dual guide ribs. The "d" block was the last block to be produced by Walther before the plant was overrun. Approximately 47,000 ac 45 K43 rifles were manufactured. This rifle has the remnants of the phosphate finish on the receiver and bolt carrier as well as front band and trigger guard. The barrel has the original blue finish. The stock is laminate and has the correct unstained, rough finish with correct WaffenAmt on the left butt. The receiver serial number is 1128d. The receiver has WaA 359, which is the correct WaffenAmt for Carl Walther, AG, Zella-Mehlis, Thuringen, "K43," "ac/45" and serial number. Right side of receiver has WaA 359 stamp. The bolt and bolt group all have serial number 5380. The locking lugs are in excellent condition. The Firing Pin Housing has the correct engraved number and WaA 359. No markings visible on the Bolt Housing. The Bolt Carrier is the correct type for ac 45 production with no hold open latch and has "5380" serial number and WaA 359. Barrel is in excellent condition with a shiny bore. Barrel has Nazi Acceptance Stamp near the breech and is marked with "dtk" code for Hagener Stahlwerke, in Hagen, Germany, which was the barrel subcontractor, and also has "85 45" stamp. Gas Piston has WaA 359 code. Safety has WaA 359 code for Walther. Has original sight hood. Stock has WaA 359 stamp on the left side of the butt and an unreadable WaffenAmt on the stock wrist. Comes with an original K43 Magazine that is maker marked "gcb" which was the Grohman & Sohn Metallwarenfabrik, Wuerbenthat/Sud., and also has Grohman & Sohn's WaffenAmt 892 twice on the left side along with "K43." This rifle appears to be fully functional and is a great example of one of the last K43's produced in WWII. This rifle is C&R eligible. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like additional photos posted. Please also check my other listings for antique military weapons. I accept Visa and MasterCard and charge NO FEES.
