Published in 1913 by the Wichita Eagle Press. 1st Edition. 344 pages, Green cloth covers with gilt spine title, black front cover title and black and red embossed cover illustration of an Indian wearing a warbonnet and a buffalo. Color illustration opposite title page by Seward (with apologies to Paul Gregg) of an Indian on a paint horse shooting a bow at a buffalo. A number of black and white photographs illustrate the text. We note that Wyatt Earp's name is misspelled as " Wyat Erbb" in the photograph following page 140. Overall condition is very good. The top corners of the cover are slightly bumped and there is a small crease at the top of the spine. Pages are clean and the binding is intact, although the front hinge is just a little weak. An inscription is written in ink on the partially detached front endpaper: "May Benjamin have a very "Merry Christmas" 1913 W.B. Miller".
