Reserve Auction: Remington Elliot Derringer. This Four Barrel Fixed .32 Rim Fire, Ring Trigger Derringer Patents May 29. 1850, And Oct 1, 1861 Manufactured By E Remington And Sons Ilion N.Y. This Four Shot Double Action Derringer Has Non-Functioning Trigger Which Extends Forward Engages The Firing Mechanism But Will Not Cycle. The 3 and 3/8 Inch Barrels Freely Tip Up For Unloading And Loading. The Bores Are Dull With Minimal Evidence Of Grooves And Lands. The Right Rosewood Grip Is Chipped And Has Scratches Below Attachment Screw While The Left Rosewood Grip Is Intact. Only A Few Thousand Of This Model Were Manufactured Between 1863 And 1888. Matching Serial Numbers Frame And Barrels. This Derringer Is Sold For Collection Purposes Only Unless Thoroughly Evaluated By Qualified Gunsmith. This Is A Reserve Auction.
