Jewish WW2
Extremely rare Jewish WW2 GHETTO yellow David star patch with JUDE worn in German People deported to the Ghettos ceased to be treated like human beings. Their names were replaced with numbers, which they had to memorize and respond to during role calls and other procedures. Many lost their lives through starvation, disease, torture, and physical exhaustion. Some were shot or gassed. For your viewing is a rare WWII Jewish Ghetto star patch with Yellow David STAR as mandated to be worn by all Jews after May 27, 1942. The German regimes in the occupied
countries of Europe force Jews to wear an identifying mark under the threat of death. Jewish star as required to be worn by all Jews in Germany, Poland, Bohemia (JOOD), France (JUIF), Belgium (J), Yugoslavia (Z and ZIDOV), Holland (JOOD) and several other areas during WWII. The star is made out of a cotton, almost oil cloth type material. It has a rayon backing attached so that the star could be
pinned to different articles of clothing. This was typical of many stars during WWII. They then could be tack sewn or pinned to clothing and thus changed when people would change clothes. Most of these stars did not survive the war. Don't miss your chance to grab this one, this style of star
very rarely ever comes up for sale. The star was bought in Europe long time ago from Jewish family estate sale. The item has a huge historian value ! This particular item passed very important test - it does
not glow under the black lamp
(all fabrics after 1945 glow under the black light). Also the piece have an old smell that old authentic cloth keeps.
More over the armband passed 2nd test - burned test (old fabric after burn become a proud, modern fabric become a resin). The item is from a private museum.
