This rare two shot pistol fired thru one barrel in which loade were superposed ie.one on top of the other!Patent#30332 dated Oct 9,1860 the gun is fully engraved and marked Lindsays Young America,Manufactured by J.P.Lindsay Manufacturing Co.New-York.Bottom of barrelPatent'd Feb 81859,Patent'd oct.9,1860 serial#4xx initials HW lightly marked on bottom of frame.All the markings are sharpe and crisp and grips retain orig varnish.Cal.apx .41.Gun is complete,but will not stay cocked,probably need adjusment or hammer notches filed.The engraving on the barrels does not show well in the pics,but they have a martial flavor.A very unique and attractive gun Civil War era gun.Antique no ffl.
