The Bergara B-14 Wilderness HMR long-range bolt-action rifle is accurate, feature rich and high-quality. This durable Hunting and Match Rifle (hence the “HMR” moniker) has a Bergara free-floated #6 taper barrel coated in a Sniper Grey Cerakote finish. In front is a 5/8-24? threaded radial ported Omni muzzle brake Bergara says reduces felt recoil by up to 35 percent. The one-piece 4140 chromoly steel B-14 action has two-lugs, a sliding plate extractor and a fluted conical bolt handle. Accuracy meets or exceeds 1.0 MOA.

This gun spans multiple calibers. This includes 6.5 Creedmore (1:8” twist ratio), 6.5 PRC (1:8”), .308 Winchester (1:10”), 7mm Remington Magnum (1:9.5”), .300 Winchester Magnum (1:10”), .300 PRC (1:9”) and .28 Nosler (1:9.5”). These guns have 20” to 26” barrels, 41” to 47.5” overall lengths and weigh 9.5 (for the .308 Win) to 9.9 pounds for the last three. These guns use detachable box magazines. Capacity is 5+1 for all but the 6.5 PRC, which is 3+1 capacity.

Bergara uses advanced manufacturing techniques like face turning, deep hole drilling, turning, honing and rifling. The final step is stress relieving. This uses high temperature heating to align steel molecules! The result is an extremely high-quality barrel with sub .0002” grooves that is more affordable than barrels often costing much more.

The impressive B-14 Wilderness HMR features a short-action mini-chassis bedded into a molded stock and a Bergara Performance Trigger. It is also factory drilled and tapped for Remington 700 rings and bases. On the bottom is the Bergara Performance Trigger. Underneath, a top-loaded Bergara-badged AICS-style detachable box magazine that’s mates to the gun’s floorplate. The HMR’s uni-piece camouflaged stock is hand-painted with webbing over the Sniper Gray camo. It includes a height-adjustable cheek rest, QD flush cups, a trio of swivel mounts to attach slings and a bipod and a thick black recoil pad.

Finally, the chassis has a waterfall grip and a thick recoil absorbing black butt pad.
