The Browning Buck Mark Hunter is a large blowback operated 10+1 capacity single-stack .22 LR semi-automatic rimfire pistol. This imposing work is matte black for the alloy frame, steel heavy round tapered bull barrel and most everything else except the laminated Cocobolo grips and gold-plated alloy trigger.

The Hunter carries a red-dot sight friendly half-length scope base rail atop its receiver and the rear barrel. While it doesn’t come with red-dot optics, it has a fully adjustable white outline Pro-Target rear sight you can adjust for windage and elevation! In front you get a TRUGLO/Marble Arms fiber-optic that puts your eyes on the target with amazing rapidity and ease even in low light.

The standard gun is the Buck Mark Field Target, featuring a 7 1/4” length barrel, 11 5/16” overall length and an endless 9 3/4” sight radius! The heavy bull barrel ups weight to 38 ounces, which is a bit more than others of Browning’s Buck Mark semi-automatic series.

Though the Cocobolo grips are laminate, they are nicely done and visually simulate about Grade III/IV grain wood. The grip position is high and nicely done with a deep undercut behind the classically styled racetrack oval trigger guard. The grip holds a 10-round magazine.
