The CZ-USA Wingshooter Elite over/under shotgun lineup hails from the CZ over/under family. These 28” long barrel, 45.75” overall length guns span 12-gauge and 20-gauge and are identical other than weight and forends. More about that further below. Wingshooter Elite’s standout attribute is its two-tone receiver that features hand-engraved side plates.

The Wingshooter Elite design is nicely thought out and richly featured. The guns have laser-cut checkering on the forend and grip and a mechanical safety. Both gauges use splendid dark Turkish walnut and feature gloss black chrome barrels.

The two models have a 3” chamber. Length-of-pull is 14 1/2”. The stock has a 1 7/16” drop at comb and a 2 1/4" drop at heel while overall length is 45.75”. Weight is 7.4 pounds for the 12-gauge and 6.9 pounds for the 20-gauge.

The Wingshooter Elite has an elegant mid-rib between the two barrels. The 20-guage has the full tapered forend to make it snag-free while the 12-gauge has the rounded Schnabel forend. Both include five interchangeable chokes (F, IM, M, IC, C).

Wingshooters come with ejectors rather than extractors. With extractors, spent casings stay in the gun but are in easy reach. With ejectors, the casings fling free. Also the Wingshooter’s standard single-selective triggers let you determine which barrel fires first.

CZ-USA imports a variety of different over/under shotguns. These include the Drake, All Terrain, Reaper, Upland, Redhead, SCTP and Supreme Field. It’s a marvelous bunch. All CZ-USA over/under shotguns utilize CNC machined actions and nice-looking Turkish walnut.

While you might assume CZ-USA’s over/under shotguns are made in the Czech Republic, they are in fact Made in Turkey.
