Started in 1972 by Garth Choate as a one-man gunsmith and machine repair shop in Central Arkansas, Choate Machine & Tool originally built magazine extensions for Remington and Browning shotguns. In 1981, Choate got into OEM parts for a variety of manufacturers, including Smith & Wesson, Remington, Mossberg, Winchester, and many more.
