The GForce Arms GF99 12-gauge gas-operated semi-automatic combines M-16 style AR-style features and ergonomics with semi-automatic shotguns.

This purposeful and affordable gun’s core is its 20” barrel. The barrel is threaded, and the gun comes standard with a five-piece notch-marked Beretta/Benelli Mobil compatible choke set that includes full, improved modified, modified, improved cylinder and cylinder (F, IM, M, IC, C) chokes. The quintet has one to five notches respectively. The chamber is set to fire both 2 ¾” and 3” shells.

As you might expect with AR-15 type architecture, there is a full-length MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail along the top between the carrying handle and front sight and a shorter Picatinny rail near the front of the handguard.

The buttstock is high-grade polymer synthetic as is the pistol grip. In back you get a nice thick black buttpad. The trigger guard is a simple flat bridge between the magwell and the curved palmswell three-finger recess pistol grip.

The GF99 uses AR MKA 1919 style detachable box magazines. A clever trick is the way you can mount spares to the bottom Picatinny rail. There’s no rear sight, but up ahead you get a classic M16 style front sight.

This shotgun is right-hand only and does not include sling mounts though you can get a Picatinny rail compatible QD sling ring as an optional add-on. The GF99’s overall length is 39.5”, and empty, it weighs 8 pounds.
