History of GAMO

GAMO started out making lead products in Barcelona, Spain in the 1880’s and in 1950 started specializing in air gun pellets. As the company found success, it soon became known as El GAMO and in 1961 the first GAMO air guns were introduced into the Spanish market and quickly became popular all over Europe.

GAMO Quality

Each of GAMO’s air rifles or air pistols are produced under careful inspection and with metal parts made in-house. Rifle stocks are constructed of European Walnut and Beech wood, and every couple of hours the GAMO team checks each product for quality and consistency. However, this isn’t enough for GAMO. Randomly selected air guns from each model line are put through "torture tests" which involves firing the air gun upwards of 10,000 times.
