Stribog is the powerful Slavic god of air, sky and wind, making it a great name to attach to an impressive line of Slovenian firearms. Grand Power is a relatively new arms manufacturer headquartered in Banská Bystrica in the heart of Slovenia, but it already has over 100 employees. The Stribog line of AR style semi-automatics is actually family of nine guns. Eight are 9 mm firearms and the ninth is the Stribog TR22 .22 LR caliber carbine.

All the Stribog semi-automatics share certain common traits. These include the following. Height without the magazine is 7.87” (200 mm), width is 2.24” (57 mm) with no stock or when the stock is not folded, 3.30” (84 mm) width when models equipped with the stock have it folded back clockwise to the left. Except the TR22 that uses a 25-round magazine, the rest use 10, 20 or 30-round magazines. These latter three magazines weigh 1.9, 2.4 and 3.2 ounces respectively. None of the Stribogs come with sights.

The details separating the rest are as follows:

The Stribog SP9 A3 stockless pistol (meaning has everything from the muzzle brake to the receiver, but no stock attachment) has an 8” long barrel, and it weighs 4.5 pounds.

All the rest of the models include a folding skeleton stock with a curved butt.

The Stribog SP9 A3S has an even shorter barrel that is only 4.5” long, and weighs 5.17 pounds. The handguard is simple and short, but it still includes top and bottom accessory rails.

The SR9 A3 has a 10” barrel and a simplified M-LOK type handguard with top and bottom Picatinny accessory rails and a folding stock. It weighs 5.41 pounds.

The rifle length RSR A3 has 13” and 16” barrel options weighing 5.56 and 5.72 pounds respectively. The RSR A3 Gen 2 has a shorter receiver and an octagonal handguard that stretches further forward to the muzzle and thus has more real estate for more M-LOK slots.

The TR22 is kind of the starter gun of this family, letting people do plenty of target practice with the more affordable ammunition. Even then, the TR22 has 10”, 12” and 16” barrel lengths weighing 5.14, 5.28 and 5.57 pounds respectively. The TR22 too has the folding stock, no sights, and it has a capped threaded muzzle instead of a muzzle brake. Unlike its siblings, this has a 25-round magazine.

The entire family features a single action trigger that has a 6 pound pull weight.

The Grand Power Stribog family of guns is Made in Slovenia.
