Henry Repeating Arms Company’s Single Shot Rifle has ten models covering .223 Rem/5.56, .243 Win, .308 Win, .44 Mag/Spl, .45-70 Gov't, .30-30 and .357 Mag/.38 Spl calibers.

The break-action Single Shot Rifle centerfire debuted in 2017. Single-shots are notable for an elegant simplicity in their design and workings. This also keeps them relatively affordable compared to their magazine-fed counterparts.

All ten models have an American walnut forend and buttstock, 22” long barrels, 14” length of pull and 37.5” overall length. Weight ranges from 6.69 pounds for the .30-30 to 7.37 pounds for the more powerful .357 Mag/.38 Special. Other features? Each has a standout brass bead front sight, spur hammer, fully adjustable folding leaf rear sight and an ambidextrous barrel opening/locking lever that pivots right or left on the tang atop the frame.

Henry Repeating Arms Company’s Single Shot Rifles have a rebounding hammer safety that prevents discharge without the trigger being pulled. There is also an interlock that keeps the barrel locked closed if the gun is cocked and keeps it from closing if the hammer is cocked while the Single Shot Rifle is still open.

There are two “looks”. The first has a (matte black) blued steel receiver, curved grip, rubber buttpad and a blued barrel. This covers .223, 243, .308, .357 Mag, .44 Mag, .30-30 and .45-70. The second covers .44 Mag, .357 Mag and .45-70. It has a gleamingly high polish brash receiver, straight (English) grip, brass buttplate, etc.
