History of Hogue Grips
Founded in 1968 by Guy Hogue, Hogue manufacturers a variety of Pistol Grips, rifle/shotgun stocks, knives, holsters, grip screws, recoil pads, slings and swivels. Used by a variety of championship shooters and law enforcement professionals, a series of patented features give shooters better accuracy and more comfortable shooting.
In 2009 Hogue began collaborating with knife maker Allen Elishewitz on a series of high-end sporting cutlery. Made of the highest quality materials, the line of premium knives features both folders and fixed blades made in the USA.
Hogue G10 Grips
Hogue manufacturers the largest variety of G10 grips in different colors and textures. Each G10 grip is constructed of the highest quality materials including the G10 G-Mascus materials - a high-pressure thermoset plastic laminate consisting of multiple layers of woven fiberglass mesh cloth impregnated with an epoxy resin binder. Hogue Aluminum Grips
Hogue delivers some of the best Aluminum grips in a variety of colors, textures and patterns. Each grip is machined with 6061-T6511 Aluminum, the same grade used in truck bodies and frames, as well as structural aircraft and aerospace components. The 6061 is further strengthened by a combination of tempering, heat treatment and artificial aging. Because the tempering process causes stress to the metal, Hogue stretches the aluminum, by up to 3% of its length, to relieve the stress and produce a permanent set.
