The Kriss Vector SDP SB takes the standard Kriss Vector SDP and adds a SB Tactical SBX-K stabilizing arm brace. Just like its smaller sibling, this compact single-hand usable semi-automatic comes in four calibers: 9 x 19 mm, .40 S&W, .45 ACP and 10 mm! It also comes in five colors: black, flat dark earth (FDE), olive drab green, combat gray and Alpine (white). So that’s 20 different combinations!
The 4140 chrome-moly high-tensile steel barrel is finished in QPQ, which stands for “quench polish quench,” but more commonly known as black nitride and is 5.5” long. Barrel twist is 1 to 10”. Overall length is 24.25” long in collapsed mode, making it easy to use in confined spaces.
The Vector SDP SB is built around Kriss’ Super V System, a multilink, non-linear blowback system that reduces recoil and downward redirects recoil energy. The trigger is a pivoting, single stage type.
Both atop and below the frame are Picatinny rails for mounting accessories. The full-length top rail comes with low profile flip sights both in front and in back. The bottom rail is comparatively short, but even it has seven or eight crossties.
Regardless of guise, the Vector SDP SB uses 17 round Glock magazines and weighs 6.7 pounds.
