The Nosler M48 Long-Range bolt-action rifle is a versatile, feature rich, accurate, high-performance gun built for long-term use under rugged and varied conditions. It covers six calibers: short-action 6.5 Creedmoor (1:8” twist ratio) and, in long-action, 26 Nosler (1:8”), 28 Nosler (1:9”), 300 Winchester Magnum (1:10”), 30 Nosler (1:10”) and 330 Nosler (1:10”).

Nosler’s Model 48 custom actions are machined from solid steel and integrated to ride on machined rails. The guns use match-grade 26” long Shilen stainless steel barrels. Shilens are made in Texas and noted for their consistent bores that cannot vary more than.0005" of their standard diameter. Moreover, their grooves cannot vary more than .0003”! Staggering! These barrels are threaded. They come with a thread cap for when the included muzzle brake is not in use. The muzzle brake is a functional piece of art. It’s been drilled with circular ports.

Beyond the 26” barrel, other key dimensions are a 13.5” length-of-pull, .38” drop at comb, 1.27” drop at heel and 48” overall length. The gun’s total weight comes in at 7.8 pounds.

The various M48 metal components have an all-weather NIC Industries Cerakote for wonderful durability and corrosion protection.

The trigger is a marvelous precision-machined single-stage Timney trigger noted for its crisp, clean breaks. It also has an integral two-position safety.

A key component is the 28 ounce Manners MCS-T Elite Tac carbon fiber stock that’s swathed in Elite GAP camo. The Elite Tac stock uses aluminum pillars to anchor the free-floating barrels. In back, it has an integrated high cheek rest to work with high-power scopes. It also has a trio of swivel studs including two on the forend to permit concurrently attaching a strap and bipod. In back is a nice, thick, black 1? Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad to help mitigate felt recoil. All this combines for a guaranteed MOA accuracy when using Nosler ammo.

M48s also have a hinged floorplate. The 6.5 Creedmore has a 4+1 capacity while the other five are 3+1s.
