The mighty Remington Model 7600 black synthetic stock pump-action spanned 6mm Rem., 243 Win., 270 Win., 30-06 Springfield, and 308 Win. All calibers were 4+1 guns with four in the quick release detachable box magazine and one in the chamber.

These pump actions had 22” free-floated barrels. The matte black weather and impact resistant synthetic stock had a 13 3/8” length of pull with a slope that went from the 1 11/16” drop at comb down to 2 1/8” drop at heel. Overall length was 42” and weight was about 7.5 pounds.

The receiver had an elegant curve across the top that integrated smoothly with the half pistol grip stock. In front, the polished blued barrel was topped by a standard blade ramp front sight and a sliding removable ramp rear sight. Both were removable.

Remington 7600s featured a matte black synthetic forend and stock coupled with blued receiver, barrel and other key metal components. Remington did a great job fine line checkering the forend and beautifully curved grip.
