The .380 ACP Remington RM380 Executive is a top of the line variant of the standard RM380 micro pistol. This is an eclectic design produced by one of the most legendary and iconic of American arms manufactures. This all-metal gun is a narrow .95” width 6+1 concealed carry semi-automatic micro pistol wrapped around a 2.9” barrel that’s only 5.27” long and weighs 12.2 ounces, and thus barely .75 pounds. Total height is only 3.86”!

The slide, frame and barrel are all made of stainless steel. Compared to the standard RM380 pistol, the RM380 Executive’s slide stop has been redesigned to be unobtrusive, it has a smooth double-action trigger, its magazine release is almost flush behind the trigger guard, and it’s ambidextrous.

The sights are fixed at front and back and above all designed to be snag-free, and they integrated wholly and harmoniously into the slide. Fit and finish are very good.

So why is it eclectic? For starters, the proportions are very compact, but attractively well-balanced. There’s a very short beavertail that promotes better handling and decreases fatigue. So that’s not it. The stainless steel slide has seven wide diagonal serrations at back, and those look great too. What is visually outstanding are the Macassar Ebony Laminate side grips with their inlaid texturized black grip pads. The front of the grip has the usual horizontal serrations, but the rear back strap is smooth. Also the magazine is ported for easy counting of how many rounds are in it, and it comes with an extended finger rest.
