The SIG Sauer P320 RXP XFull-Size, P320 RXP Full-Size and P320 RXP Compact provide three different size variations on a reflex optic striker-fired 9mm Luger semi-automatic. The focal point (so to speak) of each is a SIG SAUER Electro-Optics ROMEO1PRO 1x30mm 6 MOA red dot reflex optic.

These semi-autos have a rich tapestry of features. Each has a Nitron-finished stainless-steel slide and a matte black grip module. Nitron is SIG’s name for its PVD (physical vapor deposition) finish. It looks great and makes any gun corrosion resistant and more durable.

All three have a 6-groove 1:10” twist barrel. Beyond that, all models differ primarily in barrel length, trigger type, frame size and magazine capacity. No matter which you get, you get two magazines. The P320 RXP XFull-Size has a choice of either two 17-round magazines or two 10-round magazines. The P320 RXP Full-Size has the same two magazine choices. The P320 RXP Compact’s choices are two 15-round magazines or two 10-round magazines.

The P320 RXP XFull-Size has an XCarry Polymer Full-Size grip module! It has a lateral beavertail and a three-slot Picatinny accessory rail under the muzzle. In addition to the ROMEO1PRO reflex, it also features XRAY3 SUPPRESSOR SIGHTS. Its trigger is a XSeries Straight trigger. Key dimensions are a 4.7” match grade carbon steel barrel sits in a long slide that gives the gun an 8.0” overall length. It is 6.4” tall, 1.4” wide and weighs 30 ounces.

The slightly smaller but still large P320 RXP Full-Size has the same dimensions. However, it has Suppressor Contrast 3-dot Sights and SIG’s standard curved trigger. The grip module is slightly different. It has a shorter beavertail but it has five-slots for the Picatinny rail.

The P320 RXP Compact is 7.2” long overall and 1.4” wide. It’s 6.2” tall and weighs 26.3 ounces. All this wraps around a 3.9” barrel.

The ROMEO1PRO 1x30mm 6 MOA red dot reflex optic has 1.0 MOA increments. It pairs a steel shroud and a CNC aluminum housing for long-term ruggedness and durability. There’s plenty of fun technology in this splendid little component. For instance, it has a Motion Activated Illumination System (MOTAC for short) automagically powers on when you move the gun and goes into battery saving power-down mode after two minutes when you don’t. If you don’t like MOTAC, you can always toggle it on and off.

ROMEO1PRO has TruHold Lockless Zeroing System to return the sight to true after each shot, and you can increase and decrease brightness with 10 daytime settings and two nighttime ones. Other attributes include high-performance coatings and a zero-distortion molded glass aspheric lens. Somehow, total weight without a battery is just one ounce!

SIG loves great ergonomics. Thus, the P320 RXPs showcase thoughtful touches and well-done tactile surfaces. For instance, the slides have forward-leaning grip serrations on both front and back. You also get excellent non-slip grip texturizing and serrated surfaces for all the levers and other key moving touchpoints.

You can reverse the magazine release for either left-hand or right-hand use. And for more safety, P320s feature a Loaded Chamber Indicator (LCI), striker safety and a disconnect safety.

Integrated in the grip module is the combat trigger guard. It has horizontal serrations and gentle concave surface and a deep undercut at back.

The flat trigger reduces trigger allows for a lower finger position thus providing more refined control and a smoother pull compared to similar curved triggers.
