The Standard Manufacturing SKO-BULL gas-operated 12-gauge semi-automatic shotgun launched in 2016. The barrel is 18.875” long and overall length is only 30.75”. Total weight without a magazine loaded is 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

The “BULL” in the gun’s name refers, of course, to the gun’s magazine behind grip design. This changes the center of gravity to move it further back toward the magazine but also permits a more compact package. The gun comes in black. Its main design element are several sets of forward leaning serrations.

The gun comes without sights, but it has an extraordinarily long 22” Picatinny rail for optics and other accessories to permit owners to configure it with whichever sights they want. The long rail is elevated above the barrel and receiver.

The receiver is designed around tried and true AR-type controls.

The barrel features a screw-in choke system that works with tactical and stiletto choke tubes. The stock has a thick pad at back.

SKO-BULL works with 2, 5, 9 and 15-round detachable magazines that feeds up into the flared magwell.

Standard Manufacturing, LLC of New Britain, Connecticut started operations in 2014. The company is best known for producing shotguns which include the Shorty and Mini types that were designed for state compliance regulations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. But it also makes M1911 semi-automatics and revolvers.
