In order to install the Offline Lister on your PC, you must have administrator privileges on your machine. If you do not, the installation will not work. The installation process will check for the appropriate Microsoft components when it does the install. If they are not there you will be prompted to install them. One of the components is the Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.5. This is fairly large and can take 15 or more minutes to install. Please be patient.
Installation / G.A.C. problems
Some people have reported installation problems. Most of these issues have be resolved by installing the Microsoft frame work first then installing the application. This solves the issue for most people.
You can install the frame work by going to http://www.microsoft.com/net/Overview.aspx and then just click the "Get the .NET Framework" link near the top right side of the page and follow the instructions.
In order to upload you must be connected to the internet. You may create listing without being connected but you must be connected to upload.
Checking for updates
It is perfectly normal for the Offline lister to connect to the system to check for updates. If you are connected to the internet, the application will look for and download updates automatically if one exists.
